Easter Seals Work Resource Center hosts a number of events throughout the year to raise awareness surrounding employment issues for individuals with disabilities and life disadvantages.

Annual Awards Celebration. Each fall, Easter Seals WRC trustees and staff recognize three inspiring individuals who have achieved success through employment. Attendees get the opportunity to share in the celebration as they hear the stories of how three participants have taken the opportunity to break down barriers to employment and have achieved greater self-sufficiency. Mark your calendar for Saturday, November 5 when we will host another inspirational Awards Dinner.

2008TailgateBashCrowd

Tailgate Bash is Easter Seals WRC's largest fundraiser which kicks off tailgate season in style featuring the World Cornhole Championship, cornhole-athon - a recreational cornhole challenge, live music and much more on Fountain Square. The 2010 Tailgate Bash generated more than $100,000 for Easter Seals WRC programs. Find out more about Tailgate Bash. Mark your calendar for August 27, 2011 to join in the fun!

Celebrate being green and get excited about reuse with this ultra hip event at Building Value's Northside retail store. With an ecclectic mix of entertainment, this fundraising event is sure to be the most fun you'll have each Spring. It's a great way to recognize Earth Day all year long!!
