2008 Tailgate Bash Rocked the Square on August 16 With a Cincinnati-Style Kick off to Tailgating Season, Easter Seals WRC raised more than $130,000
Visitors to Tailgate Bash were treated to a Cincinnati-style event featuring the World Cornhole Championship, Cornhole-athon, live music, cornhole games for the whole family, grilling food favorites, beer from Christian Moerlein and MUCH more. 2008 Tailgate Bash increased revenue by 18% while doubling attendance though the event was shortened by four hours. Beyond that, anyone walking on Fountain Square from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. was drawn into the excitement and experienced Easter Seals WRC mission at work--All the cornhole boards used during Cornhole-athon were built by individuals with disabilities learning job-related skills. The success of Tailgate Bash was made possible by presenting sponsor Kroger and all 2008 Tailgate Bash sponsors and supporters. Find out more about how you can continue to support Easter Seals WRC. |
