Building Ability

Building Ability is a work-based social enterprise of Easter Seals WRC for individuals with severe disabilities who are interested in learning basic woodworking skills.

Building Ability participants take scrap materials donated to Building Value or salvaged by a Building Value deconstruction team that could not otherwise be sold and turn them into products sold in the Building Value retail store.

Building Ability also serves as a job-training site for participants in the Summer Youth Program and provides participants with a working knowledge of woodworking including proper use of power tools and safety precautions. Learn about the masters behind the products.
